“I taught Punit Ad filmmaking as part of the XIC post graduate course in 2010 – 2011.
The class is a large one – 60 students and so once can imagine, it would be competitive. There were 6 groups and each had to make an ad film. Punit emerged Director of his group’s ad film. To gain this role puts him in top few of the class – he earned his teammates respect and showed leadership qualities. Once he took on directorial roles, he proved he deserved the position. The film itself on Kraft cheese came in at a high second at the judging.
Positions are not everything – not only did the film fare well, but the process was wonderful to watch/ The team worked in lovely harmony – exhibiting team work. They constantly bettered their ideas and perfected their approach. Punit is not only talented but also a good team player – I wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
