Punit Bhandari is a self-taught photographer, graphic designer, digital media expert, occasional web coder, film maker and an entrepreneur. In short, some sort of a super hero; or so he likes to believe.
Brought up in a Marwari family with a doctor father, the obvious career choice was a CA or a doctor. But he discovered his fascination for computers early on when his dad got him his first PC in 1997. Within a few years of discovering this incredible device, he created his first website at the age of 13. Thinking of himself as the next Bill Gates, he decided to become a Computer Engineer.
But as he grew older and somewhat wiser, he realized that working with numbers was not something that excited him.
After completing graduation in Business Administration and Post-Graduation in Advertising & Marketing from Symbiosis International University and Xavier Institute of Communication respectively, he took up a job in a Digital Marketing Agency where he learnt that sitting on Facebook all day could also be turned into a lucrative career.
Confident about his skills after just 9 months of working, he decided to quit and start his own agency at the age of 23. From making tea to bringing in business, designing, coding, strategizing, he did everything single-handedly for a couple of years, before hiring a full-time team.
He has worked with dozens of brands and boasts of clients from different industries including Live Events, Hospitality, Clothing, Real Estate, Entertainment, Food & Beverages etc.
Now 28, he values the knowledge earned from many different fields and how it can be leveraged to create incredible things.
Born in Nashik, the love for wine & trekking comes naturally. When he is not working, he loves to go on wine or chocolate tastings, try his hand at cooking and bartending or just disappear in the mountains. He loves travelling and capturing his experiences into memorable photographs and short films. He is also fond of the occasional adrenaline pumping action sports, and dreams of filming his own life and making a movie out of it, preferably in a cape 😉
